Here is my little contribution to the web. This is my
weblog. "Weblog?" you ask. Yes, it's my little place on the web
to speak my mind about things going on in my life and the world.
Most people's blogs are pretty much full of long interesting, happy or
depressing stories. I have no idea what mine is gonna be like. I am an
ever-changing person and generally can't think of anything to write,
but lately I've been inspired.
(btw-please don't mind the archive..i'm not sure how i want to set it up, it doesn't make much sense right now...so please bare with me..*lip quiver*)
So, here goes nothin'...

I, unfortunately, am at a loss for words. I have SO much going on in my life, but yet I have nothing to say. I think that it really comes down to the fact that I'm not sure what I want to disclose to the world out there. I'm still debating with myself...so you are going to have to wait. :)
But here's more good news, in someone else's life, that has affected me greatly! My good friend Donald just celebrated his birthday last Sunday and along with it celebrated 2.5 years CANCER FREE. It's been 3 years since his diagnosis. He is in remission, but the doctors don't want to say so because he HAD a rare form of cancer and they are afraid to tell him he's in remission and then have him get it back. All I know is that 2.5 years is a hell of a lot longer than the 6 months that they gave him. He has intrigued everyone in his life with his amazing will and devotion to staying well.
Wouldn't you know...his type of cancer originally was only known to occur in 80 year old Asian men, he was a 29 year old and Caucasian. Not long ago researchers found that smoke inhalation can also cause it. WELL, he’s a firefighter. So, isn’t it just ironic that someone who has dedicated his life to saving people from fire would be stricken with a disease caused by just that? So, as many wise old people say…”You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.”
